News You Can Use March 1, 2008 NEW In-Store eBook Program ANNOUNCING a new way to sell eBooks through your store! Cengage’s In-Store eBook program allows college stores to purchase physical stock and sell ebooks from their shelves. Purchase In-Store eBooks directly from Cengage and: Offer your students additional options in your store. How many titles have in-store eBooks? There will be 50 Cengage titles with in-store eBooks available for fall.

Contact your Cengage Learning Rep. We will produce this product with a guaranteed minimum order of 50 units. What is the price of the in-store eBooks? We recommended that the college store's price for the in-store eBook equal 50% off the suggested list price of the print version -- the same price charged on iChapters.com. The net price to bookstores is 15% off the suggested list price of the eBook. You can find pricing information included on the eBook title list on the Service Plus website. How do student purchasers activate their eBooks? After making their purchases at your store, students activate their eBook access codes on iChapters.com What is the benefit to the college store? Many stores have been asking us, “How can I sell your eBooks in my store?” Offer this choice to your students in your store this fall. To help you sell this new product line to your students, student marketing tools for in-store eBooks can be found on the Service Plus website’s iChapters.com page. What is the return policy on in-store eBooks? Our in-store ebooks are 100% returnable if they are in new and unopened condition. This allows stores to accept returns from students if the package has not been opened. What if I have a professor interested in a title that is not on the list? Let your Cengage Learning representative know which title your instructor requested and we will look into publishing an in-store eBook version. Guide your students to iChapters.com to purchase those titles as ebooks and you can also earn “click-through” commissions for these sales by joining the iChapters.com affiliate program.
